These are the puzzle-solving portion of FROM HERE, TO-GETHER and can be completed from anywhere in the world, including Columbus.

You’ll encounter different types of puzzles, so expect to look closely, think differently, rearrange things, decode messages, and sometimes return to something you’ve already seen.

We strongly recommend having a pen and a few sheets of paper nearby. Some missions will be much easier if you can write things down, cross things out, rearrange letters, or keep track of your answers.

There are 7 FROM ANYWHERE Missions. Missions 01–06 make up the scored puzzle portion of the competition. Mission 07 brings everything together.

Keep every answer you solve. You’ll need them when you submit your Mission.

If you’re coming to Columbus, there are 7 additional in-person Missions waiting around the city.

These are completely optional.

You do not need to complete the Columbus Missions to participate in the competition or qualify for prizes. Everyone competes through the same FROM ANYWHERE Missions and Final Mission.

The Columbus Missions are designed to help you explore places connected to the band, music videos, early history, and the Clique while you’re here.

Do one. Do all seven. Skip anything that doesn’t fit your plans.

They can be completed in any order.

Below the FROM ANYWHERE Mission tiles, you’ll find a section with a link to the Google Form to submit your From Anywhere answers to be entered into the competition and a chance to win prizes. To be eligible, all answers must be submitted by 11:59 PM EDT October 21, 2026, when the competition ends.

The Columbus Missions are not all within walking distance of one another.

Some are concentrated around the High Street / Short North area, while others are north of Columbus in places such as Westerville, Delaware, and Galena.

Think of them as optional stops to work into the trip you’re already taking, rather than one continuous walking route.

If you want to visit several, plan your route before heading out and expect that some locations will require a vehicle or rideshare.

There is no advantage for completing them faster.

As long as you want it to.

Some people may solve the FROM ANYWHERE puzzles in one sitting. Others may work through them over several days.

The Columbus Missions can also be spread throughout your trip.

This is not a race.

The Mission is open from October 14 at 12:00 AM EDT through October 21 at 11:59 PM EDT.

You do not need to participate every day or be in Columbus for the entire Mission window.

Both work.

Solve alone, work beside your travel group, involve your family, or compare theories with another fren.

Some Columbus Missions are especially fun with other people, but none require you to arrive with a group.

Please remember that prize submissions are tied to qualifying registrations/order numbers and must follow the published Competition Rules.

And most importantly: help each other have fun without simply posting completed puzzle answers publicly while the competition is still running.

Some Columbus Missions may invite you to take a photo, but you will never be required to post yourself publicly in order to participate.

Show us the places you found, the frens you met, the weird things you noticed, and the parts of Columbus you’ll remember.

One request: please don’t publicly post puzzle solutions or completed FROM ANYWHERE answers while the competition is still open. Let everyone have the chance to discover them for themselves.

Please use common sense and take care of yourself while exploring.

Stay in public areas. Respect businesses, employees, parks, neighborhoods, and other visitors. Do not climb structures, enter restricted areas, block entrances, trespass, or put yourself in an unsafe situation for a Mission.

Some locations are active businesses. No purchase is required, and you should never need to move merchandise or interrupt employees to complete a Mission.

Weather, crowds, business hours, traffic, mobility needs, or simply your own schedule may make a Columbus stop impractical.

Skip it.

Nothing in the optional Columbus portion is worth turning your trip into a stressful one.

Everyone competing for the Grand Prize follows the same competition path, whether they are in Columbus or thousands of miles away.

60 points come from the scored FROM ANYWHERE puzzles.

40 points come from the Final Mission written response.

The optional Columbus Missions do not add points to your competition score.

After you’ve finished as much of the Mission as you want, submit your puzzle answers and Final Mission through the official Mission Submission Form before the deadline.
